影子企業家自2008年舉辦，至今已達第十屆，目標是籍此商務策劃比賽培育大專院校生成為未來創業家，透過創意創業大賞的廣泛企業家網絡提升大專生的商業觸覺。
透過影子企業家，大專生將與成功企業家直接對話，從中吸收創意創業經驗，培育積極人生觀並裝備成未來創業家﹔而透過活動分享，企業家可亦藉此實踐企業社會負任，建立正面、健康企業形像。
